DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, October 23\, 2025\nThe League of Women Voters is sponsoring 2 forums to learn the candidates for elective offices in Amherst. \n\n\n\n\nCandidate Forums: \n\nWednesday\, Oct 15 – Districts 1\, 2\, 3 & 4 Candidates\nThursday\, Oct 23 – At-Large Candidates School Committee Candidates\n\nEach forum will be preceded by a 30-minute “Meet and Greet the Candidates.” Because the positions of District 5 Councilor\, Library Trustees\, Housing Authority\, and Oliver Smith Will Elector are uncontested\, these individuals have been invited to the Meet and Greet events. All forums will take place in the Library at the Amherst-Pelham Regional High School\, 21 Mattoon Street\, Amherst. \nEach candidate will answer questions submitted by Amherst voters. The questions can be emailed to lwva@lwvamherst.org or written on index cards at the event.  The forums will be recorded and available on YouTube.
